Liz Ann was injured in a serious and unfortunate accident Sunday, August 17 while hiking down Mt Cowen in the Absaroka/Beartooth Range.

She has participated in our Thursday night rides and proudly wore the GAS colors in the Bohart Bash this year.  She has also been teaching pilates to GAS team members over the summer.

Save the date and come spend an active day with friends in support of Liz Ann and her new journey. Check out the blog post for more details.

Come out for the Montana State Time Trial this Saturday, put on by Bozemanʼs own Masterʼs Velo team. The race will take place on Dry Creek Road in Belgrade. See note above that we are also looking for volunteers who are willing to be follow riders for the younger juniors at this race. Registration starts at 9 am at Lion's Park (baseball fields). Race starts at 10:20. Must be a USA Cycling licensed rider. One-day licenses are available on Saturday.

There will be a cash prize list for MT Bicycle Racing Assoc. categories.

Other activities include tours of emergency vehicles, Scotty the Smoke Trailer, safety games and more. Come try a new “mini-race” course for all participants. Special appearances by MSU’s Champ and Buckles the Kangaroo!

The Longest Day of Trails is sunrise to sunset, 17 hour, solstice, bicycling event on the Main Street to the Mountains trail system. Founded by Dan Harding of Intrinsik Architecture with support from members of the G.A.S. / Intrinsik Architecture Cycling Team, Longest Day of Trails aims to raise awareness for the Gallatin Valley Land Trust role in building and maintaining local trails and to solicit new GVLT members.

Who: Bozeman Bike Kitchen in association with the Bozeman Area Bicycle Advisory Board and 1st Interstate Bank
When: Saturday May 10th, 9am – 12pm
Where: 1st Interstate Bank Parking Lot (Downtown Location)
What: We are looking for Bike Shop Quality Bicycles (complete or otherwise), parts and accessories that are no longer needed by you or your family.
Why: Donated bikes will be refurbished, used to teach bicycle mechanics skills to kids and community members, then given away to those in need of reliable, sustainable transportation.

Events include movie presentations, informational sessions, lectures, and discussion groups. Encourage all your friends to be apart of "Don't Drive Friday". Ride a bike!
